Data_Quality:
Lineage:

Data was sourced from the Groundwater Management Unit (GMU) for the Murray-Darling Basin. Only GMU areas related to the transitional water resource plans in Water Act 2007-Schedule 4 included in this dataset.

GMU dataset was sourced from REM via the MDBC. The dataset was augmented with management areas outside the surface water catchment but within the groundwater basin in Victoria and SA. The MDBC dataset was provided with metadata from the Vic, NSW and SA data sources only. Additional SA polygons were provided by DWLBC and the additional Vic polygons were downloaded from the data warehouse (http://www.vicwaterdata.net/vicwaterdata/home.aspx)

Positional Accuracy:

Unknown.

Attribute Accuracy:

Except for StartDate, all attribute information is taken from Schedule 4 of the Water Act 2007

Logical Consistency:

All features were topologically checked to verify no overlaps between features.

Completeness:

The dataset only contains transitional resource plans for groundwater. Transitional plans dealing with surface water are not shown. Interim plans are not shown.
